Attend, inc.

As the PR Manager of Attend, Inc., I developed the #EventHacker hashtag to brand content targeted toward the B2B marketplace to which the company was repositioning in 2015. As a way to generate thought leadership and increase brand awareness within the B2B space, I interviewed Field Marketers from other successful Boston startups about their event strategies and created blog posts featuring their top event hacks in the #EventHacker Series. (See writing samples.) 

As the blog series grew in popularity and became Attend's defining element of brand identity in the B2B space, I decided to develop the #EventHacker Series into a video series featuring top event hacks using the Attend app. Until the launch of this video series, Attend produced very little video content or thought leadership that showcased our own product and internal team. Seeing the opportunity, I developed the idea, scripted the first three videos, pitched it to the Marketing and Sales teams, and shot the videos in the Attend office using my own materials. I taught myself how to use Final Cut Pro and produced videos that were then used as Marketing content, pushed on social media, and used as Advertising copy. As my skills have grown in production, I became the go-to in-house video and multi=media content producer.
